I am just a beginning painter. I'm a "Stay at Home Mom" with two beautiful girls who are now in school and although I could go back to my former profession of teaching, I've decided to play around with my favorite hobby instead and see what comes from it. I LOVE art and I LOVE painting! It's my "therapy" and I'm always happy when I'm painting. I've been painting with acrylic paints for several years and occasionally paint with oil. My family and friends are very encouraging of my hobby and my husband even converted a room in our house into a "studio" for my painting pleasure, with a new floor, crown moulding and beautifully painted walls. My father is Don Iverson, a well known artist in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. He is truly amazing and I have also posted a link to his website for anyone that would like to view his beautiful Limited Edition prints. I hope you will see a lot of improvement in my technique due to my additional studio time. I also hope you will let me know what you think of my paintings and join my "followers" list.
